bestat Inc., a Tokyo-based AI startup specializing in industrial 3D data processing, has completed the first close of its Series A funding round, raising 100 million yen. The round was co-led by IE AI & Green Revolution Investment Limited Partnership and DG Incubation’s Open Network Lab/ESG No. 1 Investment Limited Partnership, with participation from the Sapporo Innovation Fund.
The funding will support the expansion of bestat’s team, including engineers to develop AI agents and personnel for business development and sales. The company aims to accelerate the implementation of “On-site 3D AI Agents,” software designed to integrate 3D data into industrial workflows, covering tasks from generation to reporting. Future developments will support full industrial business processes, including CAD and BIM/CIM integration, automation of photography, measurement, inspection, and estimating.
