Timee Co., Ltd., provider of the part-time job service “Timee,” is pleased to announce that it has signed a partnership agreement with Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture. This marks the first collaboration with a local government in Saitama Prefecture.
Chichibu City is easily accessible from central Tokyo, and is surrounded by the clear waters of the Arakawa River tributaries and the mountains of the Chichibu Basin, allowing visitors to enjoy the changing seasons throughout the year. It is also home to numerous valuable cultural heritage sites and hosts numerous festivals, such as the Chichibu Night Festival, making it a town rich in both nature and history.
Chichibu City is expected to experience a population decline of approximately 30,000 people between 1980 and 2040, and in fact, the population has declined by approximately 15,000 people between the merger of municipalities in April 2005 and 2024. The aging rate is also expected to exceed 40% by 2035.

Under this partnership agreement, Timee and Chichibu City will work together to provide a variety of support to both local workers and businesses. Utilizing the convenience of Spot Work, which allows people to work whenever and wherever they like, will stimulate potential labor and create work opportunities for a variety of people. Businesses will be provided with various support, such as holding industry-specific seminars and proposing business segmentation, to create a system that makes it easy to utilize Spot Work.
