TOPPAN Corporation, a group company of TOPPAN Holdings, and Visual Processing Japan Co., Ltd., which provides DX solutions for content production with DAM at its core, will begin collaborating on Friday, September 5, 2025, to expand DX support services for content production, management, and operation in the corporate marketing field.
By combining TOPPAN’s long-cultivated content production and management know-how across a variety of media and track record in system construction and operational support for marketing digital transformation with VPJ’s digital asset management service “CIERTO,” the company will begin offering a comprehensive service covering everything from providing management systems to creating and supporting operational support for digital content suitable for use in corporate promotional activities. Furthermore, by linking “CIERTO” with TOPPAN’s “Generative AI Management Platform,” which will enable safe and efficient data utilization using AI and which TOPPAN has been offering since May 2025, the company aims to develop new services that support content production and proofreading using generative AI, as well as appropriate data management and operation.
Through this collaboration, we will support companies in streamlining their marketing and public relations departments, which need to create and manage a large amount of content across a variety of media, and in improving brand value through appropriate content management.

In recent years, companies have been handling a huge amount of digital content, such as images and videos, in their marketing activities across a variety of media, including websites, e-commerce, videos, social media, advertisements, and catalogs. However, many companies have digital content scattered across various departments, making management cumbersome and resulting in issues such as the inability to quickly obtain necessary data, the use of materials that do not match the brand image, the mistaken adoption of outdated materials, and insufficient management of copyright and portrait rights. These issues not only reduce the efficiency of marketing activities, but also lead to brand damage and compliance risks.
To address these issues, companies are increasingly adopting DAM services that centrally manage data such as images and videos on the cloud and support everything from production to approval. However, implementing these services requires the design of optimal workflows and the formulation of rules, as well as a system that can seamlessly execute everything from daily content registration to management. This is an area that cannot be fully covered by system providers alone, and is an issue that cannot be resolved by simply implementing DAM. There is also a growing need for similar services in the creation of content that utilizes generative AI, which has become increasingly popular in recent years, as well as in its appropriate management and operation.
TOPPAN has been involved in content production and marketing support for client companies for many years, and has a proven track record and know-how in properly managing and operating vast amounts of digital assets. Utilizing the knowledge gained through involvement in creative production for various companies, TOPPAN has provided BPO services that optimize the entire business process to many companies and local governments.
Meanwhile, VPJ has been providing the DAM service “CIERTO” since 2016. The service’s strengths lie in its ability to centrally manage images, videos, and specification information linked to products by integrating image and video management functions with product information management functions, and its easy-to-use interface as a domestic solution developed for Japanese companies. The service is currently used in over 250 locations across a wide range of industries in Japan.
The two companies have now begun collaborating to combine TOPPAN‘s content production, management, and operation know-how with VPJ‘s DAM technology to provide operational support services that seamlessly cover content planning, production, approval, distribution, and effectiveness measurement. This will enable companies to manage their marketing-related creative work in an integrated manner, and by improving operational efficiency through the promotion of digital transformation, they will be able to focus resources on core content production work such as planning and design.
