Minnano Bank, Ltd. has entered into a business partnership agreement with Merpay, Inc. to utilize Minnano Bank’s financial functions and services on the flea market app “Mercari” provided by Mercari, Inc.
One of Minnano Bank‘s service concepts is “blending into everyone’s daily lives.” Through co-creation with business partners in the BaaS (Banking as a Service) business, the bank aims to provide a new service experience that seamlessly links various consumption and purchasing activities adjacent to daily life with financial functions.
Merpay’s mission is to “build trust for a seamless society,” and by adding the circulation of money and trust provided by Merpay to the circulation of goods on the flea market app Mercari, the company is promoting a more free and flexible “circular finance.”

The two companies have agreed to enter into a business partnership agreement, as they believe that by combining their strengths, they can provide Merpay users with unprecedentedly convenient financial services and realize a new form of BaaS.
