Lancers Inc., which operates “Lancers,” a platform that connects professional talent with companies, has introduced electronic certificate integration using the public personal authentication service (JPKI method) that utilizes My Number cards in the “Lancers” identity verification process from July 2025. Furthermore, starting today, the “Lancers” smartphone app (iOS app for iPhone) will also begin using the JPKI method.
Conventional identity verification methods have had issues, such as the time it takes to complete verification and the time-consuming procedures required for users, such as photographing documents and entering information. To resolve these issues, we have introduced electronic certificate linkage using the public personal authentication service (JPKI method) that utilizes My Number cards.

Additionally, Lancers has been continuously working to prevent fraudulent accounts and strengthen personal information protection in order to realize a “safe and secure trading environment.” The newly introduced JPKI method utilizes the “digital authentication app” provided by the Digital Agency, and is a system that can safely and easily obtain accurate information from the IC chip on My Number cards. This will provide all users with a trading environment that combines stress-free, smooth procedures with a high level of security.
