BIPROGY Inc. launched “BankVision Service GW Plus” and the API integration service “CX Linkage” as the second part of its “BankVision 2.0” initiative, which aims to further enhance the value of its open accounting system, “BankVision.” These features make it easier to publish APIs in BankVision, improving development efficiency and speed. Furthermore, smoother integration between internal and external services improves development productivity, customer convenience, and enables the creation of an API economy.
BIPROGY explains that in the current banking industry, in addition to traditional branch services, the use of non-face-to-face channels is increasing, and financial services are expected to expand through the use of embedded finance. This makes integration with external channels and services increasingly important. In response to this situation, BIPROGY is offering BankVision Service GW Plus and CX Linkage, services that enable flexible connection between BankVision and external channels and services, in addition to its open API publishing platform “Resonatex,” which has been in operation since April 2018.
BankVision’s flexible application design and open platform make it easy to expose accounting APIs. Now, by expanding the publishing functionality of the gateway service with BankVision Service GW Plus, existing accounting programs can be exposed to front-end systems as Web APIs without any modifications. This further reduces the development burden of exposing BankVision’s APIs. Furthermore, by utilizing the API integration service CX Linkage in addition to BankVision Service GW Plus, the development burden can be further reduced. CX Linkage, positioned between the front-end system and the accounting system, integrates and controls each API, absorbing differences and modifications in the connections between each system. This reduces the burden of modifying the accounting system and each system, making system integration easier.

Furthermore, CX Linkage can detect updates and actions from end users and automatically connect to each channel and service. By enabling a customer approach across channels, it contributes to strengthening customer contact and improving engagement at financial institutions. BankVision Service GW Plus and CX Linkage have been adopted by Kagoshima Bank, Ltd. and are already in operation. The introduction of these two services will enable the use of existing accounting programs, which is expected to improve response speed and reduce development burden, as well as reduce the development burden when integrating with front-end systems, and improve CX and engagement through digital channels. BIPROGY is working on “BankVision 2.0,” an initiative aimed at further enhancing the value of BankVision. Following the first phase of enhancing BCP measures and cybersecurity measures, and the second phase of strengthening the functionality of API integration services, BIPROGY will also consider incorporating new technologies, such as the use of generative AI.
