LAC Corporation is expanding its consulting services to support the formulation of standards (rules) and guidelines that are essential for strengthening IT governance, in order to help companies respond to increasingly complex IT environments as they promote digital transformation (DX) and make greater use of generative AI.
For companies, the use of IT is a management resource that determines their competitiveness. In particular, promoting digital transformation is essential for proactive management, such as improving business efficiency and responding quickly to customer needs. Furthermore, the pace at which cutting-edge technologies, such as generative AI, are being utilized in business is accelerating. However, the rapid adoption of technology has brought about challenges such as increased complexity in system development and shorter implementation times, as well as increased confusion in system development, declining quality, and security issues during operation. Under these circumstances, strengthening IT governance has become a major issue.
LAC is focusing on the use of generative AI and the promotion of digital transformation while supporting corporate risk countermeasures. As part of these efforts, the company has begun offering an “Information Security and Information System Standards Formulation Support Service” and a “Generative AI Usage and Development Guideline Formulation Support Service,” which were developed based on the knowledge it has accumulated to date.
