SCSK Corporation will begin offering the official version of “CELF AI,” which is an extension of the company’s no-code development service “CELF” and is equipped with generative AI functions. After conducting a demonstration experiment of the beta version of CELF AI equipped with generative AI functions at approximately 30 companies since March 2025, the company has enhanced its OCR (technology for converting images into text) and RAG (search augmentation generation) functions to improve the efficiency of on-site work, such as automating survey analysis and replies to inquiry emails.
CELF has been supporting customers to use IT technology to efficiently improve their business operations, even if they do not have IT knowledge such as macros or advanced programming. In recent years, the rapid evolution of generative AI has expanded its possibilities even further. We decided that by equipping CELF, which can be operated like Excel, with generative AI, we could contribute to improving the business efficiency of companies more than ever before, so we released the CELF AI beta version equipped with generative AI function in March 2025 and conducted a demonstration experiment* with the aim of understanding customer needs.

Approximately 30 companies from a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, real estate, IT, and distribution, participated in this proof-of-concept experiment, and verified use cases based on actual business operations. As a result, it became clear that there was a particularly high need for the RAG function, which instantly extracts necessary information from a huge amount of documents inside and outside the company, and the OCR function, which automatically reads text information from paper documents, scanned images, and PDFs. By further enhancing these functions, it will be possible to meet the business efficiency needs of customers in a wider range of industries, which is why we have now released the official version.
