the Panasonic Group integrated its group communication magazine “The Power of Happiness,” which had been an open in-house newsletter that was also available to everyone outside the company, into the Panasonic Group’s news site, “Panasonic Newsroom,” and relaunched it as a new owned communication media, “Panasonic Stories.”
The group communication magazine “Become the Power of Happiness” is a medium that draws on the 100-year history of the Panasonic Group’s in-house newsletter since “Abu Ichi Kai Kai Shi” was published by founder Konosuke Matsushita in 1927. In order to share the Panasonic Group’s basic management policy and the activities of employees who embody it within the group and contribute to the formation of corporate culture, as well as to more actively communicate with employees’ families, customers, business partners, and those who want to know more about the Panasonic Group’s activities, the magazine was made public on the Internet in March 2024 as an open in-house newsletter and has been disseminating various information.
Meanwhile, Panasonic Newsroom is the Panasonic Group’s own news site that reports on what’s going on at the Panasonic Group right now, delivering the latest news, such as press releases and topics, as well as in-depth features, videos and other content in a timely manner to the public.

The concept of Panasonic Stories, born from this renewal, is “Conveying our thoughts in our own words/Communicating the image of the Panasonic Group through ‘people.'” It is a media that makes use of the strengths of both “The Power of Happiness,” the group communication magazine that has focused on the “people” of the Panasonic Group and conveyed our thoughts, and Panasonic Newsroom, which conveys the “now” of the Panasonic Group in a timely manner in our own words.
Panasonic Stories will be hosted on the Panasonic Newsroom website, and archived articles from the group communication magazine “The Power of Happiness” will also continue to be available to view from the Panasonic Stories homepage.
Going forward, we will continue to further develop Panasonic Newsroom and Panasonic Stories as media that convey the Panasonic Group‘s thinking, initiatives, and challenging attitude to the public in a timely, easy-to-understand and in-depth manner.
