The telephone analysis AI “MiiTel Phone” provided by RevComm Inc. will continue to be used by the Tokyo Metropolitan Public Health Center in 2025. This will be the fifth year since it was first used in 2021 for telephone operations regarding positive patients for COVID-19.
In December 2021, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Social Welfare and Public Health (at the time) began using the telephone analysis AI “MiiTel Phone” at all Tokyo Metropolitan Health Centers (Nishitama, Minamitama, Tama Tachikawa, Tama Fuchu, Tama Kodaira, and Shimasho) to streamline telephone operations such as active epidemiological surveys and health monitoring of positive patients for COVID-19. The AI was used to analyze the contents of calls with patients and convert them into text, helping to streamline telephone operations at the health centers and provide rapid support for patient recovery.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Public Health Center has continued to use “MiiTel Phone” for five consecutive years. By providing the telephone analysis AI “MiiTel Phone”, Revcom will support the efforts of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Bureau of Health and Medical Care to facilitate communication between the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Public Health Center and the citizens of Tokyo and to respond to unforeseen circumstances such as future pandemics.
