Panasonic Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. and VicOne Corporation, a subsidiary of Trend Micro Inc., have expanded the functionality of their security solution to support container environments in next-generation cockpit systems and have completed technical verification. This security solution expands the functionality of "VERZEUSE(R) for Virtualization Extensions Type-3," an attack detection and prevention solution announced by Panasonic Automotive Systems in October 2024, by integrating VicOne's embedded security software for vehicles, "xCarbon." This has enabled efficient monitoring of inter-container communications on an Automotive Grade Linux (AGL) reference board, confirming its applicability to next-generation automotive cockpit systems.
