Japan and Vietnam extend strategic technology cooperation

Japan and Vietnam are enhancing their tech partnership. They will focus on collaboration in artificial intelligence and semiconductors. This important step comes after a recent meeting. Vietnam's Science and Technology Minister, Nguyen Manh Hung, met with Japan's State Minister of Internal Affairs and Communication, Adachi Masashi. The minister visited Japan in early October. The meeting took place during that time. The meeting focused on building digital infrastructure. It also discussed teamwork in semiconductor production. Vietnam's government is pushing for digital change. They are investing in AI infrastructure. Minister Hung says a strong mobile infrastructure is key for the country’s digitalization efforts.
