Pocket Queries, Konoike Develop Line Tracing for Robot

Pocket Queries Inc. has developed a new "line tracing function" for a quadruped robot, aiming to reduce the number of workers and automate operations at construction and civil engineering sites, as a joint project with Konoike Construction Co., Ltd. In addition, on February 13, 2025, an autonomous driving experiment was conducted using the latest quadrupedal robot, "B2-W" (manufactured by UNITREE), at the construction site of the Small Event Hall for the 2025 Japan World Expo Facility Improvement Project (official name of the facility: EXPO National Day Hall) in Yumeshima, Osaka, and stable driving was achieved. This system uses a depth camera mounted on the robot and advanced image recognition technology to accurately recognize and follow colored tape on the floor, enabling autonomous driving.
