EBARA and Mitsubishi Electric have agreed on a deal for EBARA to take over Mitsubishi Electric’s three phase and interior permanent magnet motor businesses. The agreement was made on November 12, 2025. The transaction will cover the production lines as well as the machinery at Mitsubishi Electric’s Shinshiro Factory located in Aichi Prefecture. This particular plant is a member of the Nagoya Works group, which, in turn, will remain with Mitsubishi Electric and continue to concentrate on factory automation goods. It also includes the industrial motor, pump, and die casting businesses run by Mitsubishi Electric Automation Thailand.
