Doup Robotics Co., Ltd. has begun developing a next-generation autonomous guided robot (AMR) and related control software to resolve the serious labor shortage in manufacturing sites and other areas. The manufacturing and logistics industries are facing serious labor shortages and an aging workforce, making on-site automation an urgent priority. However, the current mainstream transport robots rely on conventional control methods using magnetic tape, etc., which means they have limited flexibility for layout changes and face high implementation and operating costs.
