Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has established the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Australia Perth Office in Perth, western Australia, as a sales base for decarbonization business within Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Australia (MHI-AUS, President: Kiyohito Fujie, Head Office: Sydney), MHI's Australian base. The aim of the establishment is to secure a strong foothold in Perth, the economic center of western Australia and a major base for environmental conservation business, and to seek further business opportunities in the country's energy policy and the creation of a sustainable society.
