Schneider Electric and Sony Partner on AI Safety Solutions

Schneider Electric, a leader in digital transformation in energy management and automation, has collaborated with Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation to offer safety improvement solutions that utilize AI, using Sony's intelligent vision sensors and Schneider Electric's industrial computers. This solution combines Sony's intelligent vision sensor " IMX500 ," which is equipped with AI processing functions, with the industrial computer " PS6000 series " from Schneider Electric's Pro-face brand. Because the IMX500 can perform AI processing within the sensor, it does not require a cloud connection, and its simple system configuration enables rapid implementation of AI in the workplace.
