Wolters Kluwer Launches AI UpToDate Enterprise in Japan

Wolters Kluwer Health has launched the UpToDate Enterprise Edition in Japan. This is an AI-based clinical decision support system that was designed for hospitals and healthcare facilities that require speedy and uniform methods to make medical decisions. The intention is to assist physicians and managers in delivering high-quality care amidst the increasing burden of doctor shortages, an aging population, and comprehensive reforms. Over 800 medical institutions in Japan have already utilized UpToDate. This new version adds AI tools that allow clinicians to type natural questions and get reliable answers drawn from peer-reviewed research. It also includes a new analytics dashboard that shows how medical content and data are being used across departments.
