Trend Micro Inc. announced on the 17th that it will begin offering “Trend Vision One for Service Providers,” a security service provision support platform for service providers.
Trend Vision One for Service Providers is a service that provides security and management functions to service providers who want to provide risk consulting, vulnerability diagnosis, managed services, and managed security services, mainly to small and medium-sized enterprises . It will be possible to provide security functions such as EPP (Endpoint Protection Platform), which prevents threats in advance by pattern matching and behavior detection, EDR/XDR (Endpoint/Extended Detection and Response), which checks the scope of the impact of cyber attacks and identifies the cause and takes action, and Cyber Risk Exposure Management (formerly known as Attack Surface Risk Management), which understands the cyber risks of the organization and actively deals with problems before they occur, to its customers as a service. As a management function, it will provide a management tool for service providers that understands the cyber risk situation for each customer and supports proposals for measures that should be taken. It will be easier to support the necessary security measures for each customer by comparing risk indicators by industry and size.

In addition, the company offers a “multi-tenant function” for managing multiple tenants, and a “remote manager” for remotely managing customers’ security settings and policies. Furthermore, Trend Micro‘s dedicated team will handle MDR (Managed Detection and Response), which monitors for signs of cyber attacks, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so service providers will not need to spend time on MDR operations and can focus on supporting their customers.
