Hitachi Solutions Create announced on the 19th that it will add a new service, “Cyber Risk Assessment,” to its lineup of “Cyber Security Consulting,” a group of security services for companies, to help identify cyber risks and plan and implement necessary security measures, and will begin selling the service on the same day. Prices start from 600,000 yen (excluding tax) per year.
Since January 2023, Hitachi Solutions Create has been offering “Cyber Security Consulting,” a service that proposes total security measures, including consulting, solution implementation, and maintenance activities, from the perspective of a cyber security specialist, to support organizations with information security issues. This group of services supports the strengthening of cyber resilience in three categories: “Cyber Assessment” for peacetime response, “Cyber Emergency” for emergency response, and “Supply Chain Assessment” for responding to stakeholders such as supply chains and group companies.
This time, as a new menu for cyber assessment support, the company has added “Cyber Risk Assessment,” which combines 1) security guideline compliance services and 2) advisory support, and provides them as an annual pack (fixed price). 1) is a service that quantitatively evaluates risks according to guidelines, helping to implement effective cybersecurity measures according to their importance. It makes a comprehensive list of a company’s information assets, clarifies threats that may affect the assets and their vulnerabilities, and then evaluates the impact and likelihood of the risks based on the identified threats, and quantifies the risk level according to required domestic and international guidelines and frameworks.
At launch, the service will comply with the IPA’s “Information Security Measures Guidelines for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises,” and will expand the guidelines it complies with in the future. Meanwhile, in 2), security experts such as security advisors and security specialists from Hitachi Solutions Create will share trends on threats and vulnerabilities from various perspectives, and respond to security inquiries from client companies.
