GMO Flatt Security, Inc., a GMO Internet Group company that develops cybersecurity-related businesses for product development organizations, will release the security diagnostic AI agent “Takumi” and will begin accepting pre-registrations for the service from April 7, 2025 onwards.
“Takumi” has already demonstrated its capabilities by reporting 0-day vulnerabilities in well-known OSS such as Vim in proof-of-concept experiments. We aim to fundamentally change the way vulnerability diagnosis and research that GMO Flatt Security has been working on for many years, and contribute to world security more than ever before.
“Takumi” will be provided as a new feature of the domestic vulnerability assessment tool “Shisho Cloud byGMO”, but it is independent of the existing pricing structure and can also be used as a standalone service.

“Takumi” can be instructed to carry out the necessary security assessments at any given time, and can also be set to operate automatically when a specific event occurs, enabling flexible automation of routine security tasks required during the software development lifecycle.
GMO Flatt Security has already been using “Takumi” as an assistant in OSS vulnerability investigations and vulnerability diagnosis. As a result, a Vim vulnerability discovered and reported using “Takumi” has been made public, and 10 0-day vulnerabilities have already been discovered during the 10-day demonstration period.
