ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (CTC) announced on the 30th that it has signed a distributorship agreement with UK-based Darktrace Holdings Limited (Darktrace) and will begin offering Darktrace’s ActiveAI Security Platform (Darktrace), a network threat detection solution.
Darktrace provides real-time monitoring of communications across an organization’s entire IT infrastructure. It can be installed and operated without changing existing network configurations. Its proprietary machine learning (AI) continuously learns normal behavior, automatically detecting and blocking anomalous communications. It eliminates the need to predefine known attack patterns, reducing the burden on adopting companies and enabling them to address unknown threats that are often overlooked with traditional countermeasures.

It can also detect malicious activity in cloud environments and from within, enabling comprehensive monitoring of complex networks. CTC, along with its partner Darktrace, will provide technical support for product implementation and operation, reducing the burden of implementation and supporting smooth operation. The company plans to focus on manufacturing and logistics/transportation industries, which have large-scale networks, and aims to achieve sales of 2 billion yen over three years.
