Fujitsu has launched its Fujitsu Cloud Service Generative AI Platform. This platform helps businesses manage data with security and efficiency. It also harnesses the power of generative AI. The service will be introduced in Japan during the 2025 fiscal year, with a global expansion planned thereafter. Starting February 13, 2025, Fujitsu will accept applications for a trial program in Japan.
Generative AI boosts productivity in many business areas. It helps with brainstorming, meeting notes, and even automatic code creation. Many industries that handle sensitive data are hesitant to adopt this technology. They worry about data leaks, unintended AI learning, and following internal security rules. Fujitsu’s new platform directly addresses these challenges.
For strong security and compliance, the service uses key technologies. These are Fsas Technologies Inc.’s Private AI Platform on PRIMERGY, Supermicro’s GPU servers, and Fujitsu’s Takane large language model (LLM). Takane is key to the Fujitsu Kozuchi AI service. It is known for its top-notch Japanese language skills. Fujitsu also uses generative AI security technologies. This keeps its cloud-based AI solution safe in its own data centers. This setup lets us handle sensitive client data in a private cloud. This way, we reduce the risks of data exposure.

Fujitsu plans to grow its platform beyond Takane. It will add more LLMs from different providers. This change will give customers more flexibility to meet their needs.
The new service will join Fujitsu Computing as a Service (CaaS). It will give businesses full support, starting from implementation and continuing with opt.
