Datadog has established a new business base in Osaka as it expands its business in the Western Japan area. It will strengthen sales activities and customer support for customers mainly in the Kansai and Chukyo areas. The Japanese subsidiary, Datadog Japan, announced this on April 1st. Datadog provides a SaaS platform that integrates a wide range of functions, including infrastructure monitoring, application performance monitoring (APM), log management, and cloud security. This will support companies of a wide range of sizes and industries to promote digital transformation (DX) and cloud migration. It also strengthens collaboration between development, operations, security, and business teams, helping to shorten the time to market and problem resolution for applications.
Since entering Japan in 2018, the company has steadily expanded its business, and currently approximately 2,000 companies in Japan have adopted its products. By reflecting customer feedback in product development and providing an integrated platform for cloud applications, it has contributed to solving problems in the Japanese market.
