Transcosmos Inc. announced that it will start offering “Global LCM Service”, a life cycle management (LCM) service for IT assets such as PC devices and software for companies that operate globally. The service will be provided to countries and regions mainly in ASEAN. transcosmos has already provided LCM services in Japan that centrally manage the life cycle of various IT assets, from the planning stage such as preliminary research and design, to environment construction, procurement, operation, and disposal. On the other hand, companies that expand their business overseas need to procure and manage IT assets that are different from those in Japan, taking into account the business environment and risks of each country.
Therefore, the company will take these points into consideration and use its knowledge of providing services in Japan to provide “Global LCM Service”, which supports the entire life cycle of IT assets globally. In cooperation with its Malaysian base, the company will expand the scope of its services to countries and regions mainly in ASEAN, and will support companies that operate globally in reducing the labor required for PC-related processes locally and strengthening IT governance at overseas bases.
