Mesius Inc. announced that it will release a new version of the JavaScript library for web app developers, Wijmo 2025J v1, on May 14th. In addition to being compatible with the latest versions of the front-end framework Angular, the data grid control FlexGrid has added new functions to improve end-user convenience.
Wijmo is a JavaScript library that provides various UI controls such as data grids, charts, gauges, input, and navigation required for business applications. This new version is compatible with the latest version of Angular 19, a front-end framework suitable for large-scale enterprise-level application development, and the latest version of Next.js 15, a React-based meta-framework. In addition, the data grid control FlexGrid can now display any message using HTML tags as overlay content when there is no data to display on the FlexGrid. The displayed message can be customized in terms of text color and text size, and HTML elements such as images and buttons can be freely placed, allowing end users to build an interface that is easy to see and understand. In addition, it is now possible to customize the sort order when clicking on a column header in FlexGrid.

This can be specified for each column, not just the entire FlexGrid. Since the optimal order can be specified according to the characteristics of the data in the target items, it provides end users with a stress-free operating experience. Wijmo licenses are provided on an annual subscription basis, with the initial fee (tax included) being 165,000 yen per year per development license, and the renewal fee is 82,500 yen.
