QUNIE, Centric Software Partner on PLM Platform Solution

QUNIE Corporation and Centric Software Inc. have signed a solutions partner agreement to provide and support the adoption and creation of benefits through the provision of a range of products, including the product lifecycle management (PLM) platform “Centric PLM.”

The company will combine QUNIE’s knowledge, which can provide a one-stop service from business and organizational reform to system construction and operation, with Centric Software’s products, which can centrally manage product information, improve business efficiency, reduce costs and lead times, and develop products that consider sustainability. This will go beyond simple system implementation and aim to produce results in both business and organizational reform and product development.
Through this partnership agreement, the two companies will optimize product development business models and support management that can respond quickly and flexibly to rapidly changing markets.

In recent years, diversifying consumer needs have led to an increase in the number of product stock-keeping units (SKUs) and the expansion of private brand (PB) products, which has forced consumer goods manufacturers to bring products to market in a shorter time than ever before. In addition, as the consumer goods industry faces a growing labor shortage, how to efficiently plan unique products while ensuring sustainability and shorten the time to market will be an important factor for future corporate growth. To achieve this, it is essential to fundamentally review each company’s product strategy and product planning and development process.

One way to promote reform is to introduce a digital transformation platform that streamlines various processes, such as product development project management, centralized management of product information, and communication with stakeholders. However, system utilization in the product planning and development areas of the consumer goods industry is relatively low, and many companies have not yet reached a fundamental solution.

To address these challenges, QUNIE and Centric Software have entered into a solutions partnership agreement to promote reform through the introduction of Centric PLM and other systems.
