Through this partnership, both companies will leverage their respective strengths to provide one-stop services that comprehensively support all phases of battery storage businesses, from planning to implementation and operation.
In Japan, while renewable energy is becoming more widespread, securing the balancing power that contributes to stabilizing the power grid is an urgent issue. Although grid storage batteries are an important resource that can meet this need, there are many challenges in commercializing them (business plan formulation, equipment selection, subsidy applications, operation in the electricity market, etc.), which are barriers to their introduction.
