GIX has just launched the AI-Informed Platform (AIP), a service that sort of mixes generative AI with enterprise data infrastructure in order to help teams make quicker, more evidence-driven decisions. In practice, the platform pulls together data from several places, sales records, weather information, internal reports, and yes even meeting notes, then it turns all that into business hypotheses along with the supporting proof.
AIP is meant to deal with a very familiar hurdle during digital transformation, where the org can say they have the data, but they still can’t really use it well enough for actual decision-making. One big piece of it is a semantic layer, kind of like a translator, that helps the AI catch the business context and understand how the data is related.

This launch also mirrors a bigger industry movement toward AI-assisted analytics, where AI is more of an analyst-in-the-loop while human teams stay accountable for what gets decided and how it’s carried out.
