Fujitsu has deployed a multi-agent AI system for Misumi Group Headquarters to streamline product information management across its e-commerce site. Launched in October, the system uses nine AI agents to generate product names, suggest categories, extract specifications and verify data accuracy. The agents evaluate each other’s outputs, while human staff handle final checks and approvals. Built on Fujitsu Data Intelligence PaaS, the system moved into actual operations within approximately 2.5 months through close collaboration between Fujitsu engineers and Misumi’s business teams. The new system will cater for rising workload and delays experienced through registering products manually in line with the expanding volume of products on the Misumi catalogue. The company is looking to automate other processes in the future, such as importing suppliers’ data and managing product master data.
