Asuene Co., Ltd. has signed a business partnership agreement with Higo Bank, Ltd. Our company will provide consulting services to Higo Bank’s customers for TCFD disclosure and SBT certification. In addition, we will promote sustainability management throughout the region through “ASUENE ESG DATA,” which we provide to the bank to streamline the collection and management of ESG disclosure data.
In order to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, companies are being urged to take steps towards a decarbonized society. In the Kyushu area, semiconductor, electronic parts, and automobile-related manufacturing are the main industries, and addressing decarbonization in the industrial sector is a key issue. In particular, in Kumamoto Prefecture, where manufacturing is thriving, the industrial sector accounts for approximately 37% of the prefecture’s total CO2 emissions, making decarbonization an urgent issue for companies. Furthermore, as companies in the automobile-related manufacturing industry and other industries increase their trade with overseas, they are being asked to take advanced measures, such as obtaining SBT certification and complying with TCFD guidelines.
Against this background, we have entered into this partnership with the aim of promoting the sustainable development of the local economy by providing multifaceted support for corporate decarbonization.

Through this business partnership, we will provide Higo Bank’s client companies with advanced consulting services, such as support for obtaining SBT certification for carbon-neutral management, CDP responses, and TCFD/TNFD disclosures.
In addition, we will provide Higo Bank with “ASUENE ESG DATA,” which supports the disclosure of our ESG information, solving the problems financial institutions face in collecting and analyzing ESG data and enabling financial institutions to provide more comprehensive support to the companies they invest in. We will strengthen our collaboration with other financial institutions not only in the Kyushu area, but also in other areas, and contribute to sustainability management toward a decarbonized society for the entire local economy.
