NTT Advanced Technology (NTT-AT) announced a new “AI Integration License” that adds a built-in AI integration feature to its robotic process automation (RPA) tool, WinActor. It will be available for purchase from mid-October. The new license utilizes Microsoft ‘s Azure OpenAI, with which NTT-AT has a contract, allowing users to combine WinActor with the AI integration feature without a separate contract. The license is a floating license that can be used on any device within the purchased range, depending on the number of WinActors purchased by the user.

The initial AI integration feature supports three usage scenarios: (1) use of AI integration within a scenario using image recognition AI for inquiries and scenario creation, (2) interactive scenario template creation, and (3) easy report manipulation. The company plans to expand the feature in the future. The annual license price (including tax) is 2,198,000 yen for the full-featured version, which allows scenario development, editing, and execution, and 601,000 yen for the execution version, which only allows scenario execution. There will be no limit on the amount of AI generation available until the end of September 2026, but a limit will be set from October 2026 onwards, requiring users to purchase additional packs.
