On April 9, KDDI and Google Cloud Japan signed a deal. They plan to explore joint projects in artificial intelligence. In this partnership, the two companies will team up to boost AI innovation. They will integrate Google’s generative AI tech, “Gemini,” into KDDI’s domestic setup.
This initiative backs Google’s strategy from “Google Cloud Next 2025.” The aim is to make advanced AI easier to access and use for Japanese businesses and consumers.
