CoeFont Inc. has begun offering a plug-in for Microsoft Teams for its multilingual real-time translation service, “CoeFont Interpreter.” The iOS app also includes a new meeting minutes function, which supports speaker separation and accurate understanding of internal terminology, something that was difficult with previous meeting minutes services, providing integrated support for multilingual communication and record-keeping in both online and face-to-face meetings. Furthermore, German, Thai, and Portuguese have been added to the list of supported languages, bringing the total to 10.
This update significantly reduces the initial setup effort and operational constraints for corporate use. Because each meeting participant can view interpreted audio and transcripts in their preferred language on Microsoft Teams, multilingual meetings can be incorporated into daily work without the need for special preparation.
