Salesforce announced the latest version of Agentforce, a platform for creating a digital workforce that brings trusted, autonomous AI agents to business processes. With this release, Agentforce goes beyond a reactive user-initiated chat interface to enable new business processes for any type of customer or employee, with AI agents working proactively in the background without constant human oversight. Enterprises can now seamlessly integrate autonomous AI agents into existing data systems, business logic, and user interfaces. This allows AI agents to predict business needs and take dynamic actions, improving efficiency, agility, and scalability.
Agentforce 2dx introduces a new set of low-code and pro-code tools that enable Salesforce developers to configure, test and deploy Agentforce faster. These, combined with advanced analytics capabilities, enable teams to monitor, debug and optimize the performance of their AI agents while leveraging real-time data and guidance. Salesforce also launched Agentforce Developer Edition as a completely free environment to try out these tools. Developers can use Agentforce to prototype AI agents and explore the capabilities of Data Cloud , Salesforce’s hyper-scale data engine.
Additionally, Salesforce announced AgentExchange, a trusted marketplace and community for Agentforce. Built into Salesforce, AgentExchange gives partners access to the rapidly growing $6 trillion digital workforce market. AgentExchange’s library of ready-to-use templates and actions helps accelerate Agentforce adoption, saving companies time and resources. Partners can also list and sell their own components to increase their share of the growing AI agent market.
