HubSpot Japan Co., Ltd., a provider of a CRM-enabled customer platform, is pleased to announce the launch of the “HubSpot connector for Claude,” the first connector for Anthropic’s Claude* CRM tool.
Many sales and marketing teams use multiple AI tools to speed up their work. However, without the data and context behind their customers, the effectiveness of these tools is limited. With this integration, users can bring customer data from their HubSpot accounts into Claude for advanced research and analysis. The launch of this connector marks HubSpot’s continued development of features that enable small and mid-sized businesses to leverage the latest and most advanced technologies in their business.
The connector allows users to ask questions in everyday language in Claude and get answers based on data in their HubSpot account. It also generates charts, graphs, and more, and allows users to take action within HubSpot based on the insights they gain. Some use cases for different departments include:
Marketing: “Generate a pie chart that shows the target segment for follow-up with contacts who opened but did not click on our recent email campaign.” Use the results.
Sales: Streamline sales activities by asking, “Organize active deals by name, amount, and stage, order by closing date, and create a summary that will help me prioritize my work this week.”
Customer Support: “Show me all open tickets assigned to me sorted by priority and creation date” to streamline support operations.
Customer Success: Improve service quality by requesting, “Conduct an analysis comparing problem resolution methods and actual outcomes across multiple support channels to drive consistency and quality improvements in support.”

The HubSpot connector for Claude can be activated by a user with administrator privileges in the HubSpot account by connecting HubSpot in Claude and authenticating the account. Any user in your organization can then individually enable the connector and begin using it by signing in.
The HubSpot connector for Claude is designed with a focus on reliability as well as ease of use. Answers to questions asked by users in Claude are generated based only on the data they have permission to access in the HubSpot account. For example, answers for individual sales reps are generated based only on the opportunity data for deals they have permission to view. Additionally, Anthropic does not use data shared through HubSpot to train models except in certain cases (such as when users choose to provide feedback or opt in to training).
