Betrend Co., Ltd. , provider of the smart CRM platform “betrend,” is pleased to announce that it has migrated its core infrastructure system to “Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (hereinafter referred to as OCI),” a cloud service provided by Oracle Corporation Japan, and has commenced full-scale operation, with a view to further improving service quality for the AI era, strengthening security, and future functional expansion.
This will enable high-speed processing of ever-expanding member and purchase data, and more stable delivery of large-scale push notifications, providing our client companies with a more reliable marketing environment.

“betrend” has been adopted by many companies, including restaurants and retail stores, and has supported the digital transformation of stores in Japan as a CRM tool that centrally manages membership management, point systems, and information distribution using smartphone apps. In recent years, with the acceleration of digital marketing by companies, the amount of customer data handled, the amount of purchase data, and the number of push notifications and emails sent to apps have increased.
At betrend, in order to continue processing these massive transactions (data processing) without delay and securely, we have adopted Oracle Exadata Database Service on OCI, which boasts high performance, scalability, and robust security, as our data infrastructure. Furthermore, in order to promote the new strategy “betrend Agent-Ready Project,” which was announced in April of this year with an eye on the AI era, establishing a next-generation data infrastructure that will allow AI to handle data safely and quickly is also an important objective of this migration.
