NTT DOCOMO and NTT Com Asia unveil “APN InterLink” HK

NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS and its Hong Kong subsidiary, NTT Com Asia, have announced the launch of “APN InterLink”, a new ultra-low latency connectivity service for financial institutions in Hong Kong, set to begin operations on November 1, 2025. Powered by All-Photonic Network (APN) technology under the IOWN® initiative, the service is designed to meet the growing demand for high-speed, low-latency data transmission essential for algorithmic and high-frequency trading, real-time transaction processing, and disaster recovery systems. APN InterLink enables direct photonics-based connections between key financial data centers, including NTT Com Asia’s Financial Data Center and Tai Po Data Center, as well as dedicated links between customer sites across Hong Kong.
