Hitachi Systems Unveils PhishWall SDK to Prevent Fraud

Hitachi Systems, Ltd. begins offering "PhishWall Mobile SDK", which provides the same functionality as "PhishWall Premium", which detects suspicious sites that imitate the websites of financial institutions and other organisations, when used on a smartphone's standard browser. "PhishWall Premium" has been introduced to approximately 200 financial institutions in Japan to increase the security of internet banking transactions and prevent fraudulent transfers and phishing scams using its core technology, "PhishWall Authentication". In recent years, the number of victims of fraudulent money transfer scams has increased sharply, and most of these scams are based on phishing.
