I-NET Corporation and Broadband Security Corporation (BBSec) have jointly launched a new proactive support service designed to help businesses prepare for the Security Measures Assessment System for Strengthening Supply Chains, a new initiative led by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) set to begin in fiscal year 2026.
The upcoming assessment system aims to enhance cybersecurity standards across Japan’s supply chains by objectively evaluating corporate security measures and awarding a ‘★ mark’ certification based on compliance levels. This rating will serve as an indicator of a company’s security maturity and reliability within the supply chain ecosystem.
Anticipating increased demands from clients and partners for proof of cybersecurity readiness, I-NET and BBSec have created a comprehensive support framework to help organizations obtain favorable assessments smoothly. The new service will provide a one-stop solution, covering security visualization, planning, corrective implementation, and operational support tailored to each company’s needs.

Under this collaboration, BBSec will identify gaps and required improvements by analyzing the current state of an organization’s cybersecurity environment against METI’s criteria and the latest industry trends. It will then help develop a roadmap for corrective actions to align with the assessment’s standards. I-NET will enhance this by providing key technical solutions.
These include:
- Business continuity and disaster recovery (BCP/DR)
- Endpoint detection and response (EDR)
- Network detection and response (NDR)
- Web application firewalls (WAF)
- DDoS防御
アイネット will manage the implementation and support for these solutions.
Both companies want to boost Japan’s supply chain resilience. They aim to help businesses adopt better and more reliable security practices. The initiative helps METI boost national cybersecurity. It seeks to make digital supply chains secure, clear, and reliable. This is important as threats and regulations grow.
