Hitachi Vantara, Inc., a Hitachi Group company that develops data infrastructure and hybrid cloud businesses, has added a new model to its lineup of AI solutions portfolio, “Hitachi iQ,” and will begin selling it today. This will meet the diversified demand for AI as generative AI is increasingly used, and contribute to improving energy efficiency, which is an urgent need. In
response to the growing demand for AI, since its launch in July 2024, “Hitachi iQ” has developed a lineup that provides total support for companies’ use of generative AI, including AI infrastructure solutions for inference and learning and various linked services.
This time, “Hitachi iQ” has added an enterprise model equipped with NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and capable of flexible system configuration, evolving the model to enable efficient investment while demonstrating high processing performance. The new model also offers the option of a liquid-cooled server *1 with excellent cooling efficiency , contributing to the realization of green data centers with maximized energy efficiency. In addition, the addition of distributed file storage that can be used widely from entry to enterprise, makes it possible to start small and gradually expand according to the model size. In addition, “Hitachi iQ” is also available as an As a Service, reducing initial investment and allowing customers to select resources to match rapid changes in AI demand.
“Hitachi iQ” utilizes the NVIDIA AI Data Platform, a new reference design developed to drive the era of enterprise AI agents . Going forward, 日立 当社は、今後もパートナー企業との協業を深め、様々なモデル規模や利用形態に柔軟に対応できるAIソリューションを提供することで、データからの新たな価値創造を加速し、企業の競争力強化に貢献してまいります。
