Future Spirits Co., Ltd. will begin offering a new option, “User Auto-Sync (SCIM),” for its web-based internal communication service “SOLANOWA” on June 25, 2026. This option automatically synchronizes employee accounts in conjunction with an IdP (Identity Provider).
As the first step, it supports “Microsoft Entra ID.” By automating account creation, updates, and deletion, it prevents the risk of “ghost accounts” resulting from failure to delete accounts of former employees, while also reducing the management workload for the IT department and strengthening security.
Development Background: The often overlooked risks of “handling employee departures”
SOLANOWA is a web-based internal communication service used by over 1 million people. Equipped with SSO login functionality, it enhances the convenience and security of employee account management by integrating with major IdPs such as Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Okta.

In recent years, with the increasing use of SaaS in companies, account management tasks related to employee onboarding, offboarding, and transfers have become increasingly complex. In particular, “ghost accounts” resulting from the failure to delete accounts of former employees are a challenge for many companies as they pose a risk of unauthorized access and data breaches.
On the other hand, while there was a system in place to automatically create an account when an employee logged into SOLANOWA for the first time, the data on the SOLANOWA side was not automatically deleted even if the account on the IdP side was deleted due to resignation or other reasons.
Therefore, company administrators had to individually delete employee information, which posed a risk of creating ghost accounts due to incomplete deletions.
To address these challenges, Future Spirits is launching a new option called “User Automatic Synchronization (SCIM)”.
SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) is a standard for automatically synchronizing user information across different cloud services. Because it automates the creation, updating, and deletion of account information between IdPs and SaaS services, it is being adopted by many companies.
As the first step, support for “Microsoft Entra ID” has been added, automating user provisioning (creation), information updates, and deprovisioning (deletion).
By integrating changes from the IdP to SOLANOWA in near real-time, organizational information is kept constantly up-to-date, while fundamentally preventing the lingering risks associated with former employee accounts.
