The NTT West Group has implemented the “Cybersecurity Primary Care” initiative, which incorporates a medical approach to cybersecurity and acts as a “security family doctor” to provide support to local governments and companies in addressing their challenges.
As part of this initiative, starting Friday, October 10, 2025, we will begin offering a “Support Service for Security Measures” that will provide comprehensive services, from diagnosing customers’ security environments to proposing countermeasure plans and providing consultation. Rather than just providing one-off diagnoses and proposals, we will contribute to improving the maturity of customers’ security measures through ongoing support as a “family doctor.”
In recent years, cyber-attack methods have become increasingly sophisticated and ingenious, making security measures increasingly important for companies. However, the shortage of cybersecurity personnel in Japan is becoming more serious, making it difficult for companies to determine what kind of measures they should take and to what extent in response to the ever-changing risks.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry is scheduled to institutionalize the “Security Measures Assessment System for Strengthening Supply Chains” in fiscal 2026, which is expected to visualize the level of achievement of companies’ security measures, and security measures are beginning to be positioned as a priority issue in management strategies.
NTT West Group has provided security support in accordance with the guidelines of various industries, such as strengthening supply chain security in the automotive industry and supporting the introduction of zero trust in the education sector. Utilizing this track record, we provide a supportive service that allows you to promote security measures with peace of mind, from diagnosing, understanding, and analyzing your security environment to proposing countermeasure plans and providing consultation support for any problems you may have, in order to compensate for the lack of human resources and expertise that companies have.
