Momentum Inc. has launched “HYTRA SECURITY,” a website vulnerability management tool that allows anyone to easily and inexpensively visualize and manage the risks associated with the increasing number of advertising tags and external scripts that are essential for website marketing strategies.
Background: The “black box” nature of web marketing
While numerous external tags and scripts are used in corporate web marketing, the following challenges are becoming increasingly serious in actual operations:
Dependency black box: Tags increase with each measure implemented, making it impossible to track “who added what, when, and what.”
Delays in addressing vulnerabilities (CVEs): Lack of means to detect outdated libraries or to verify the impact of new vulnerabilities on the company’s website.
Limitations of manual inventory: There is no time to manually check the security status of multiple websites and the large number of landing pages produced.
