GGWP has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round led by Headline Asia, Smilegateそして Korea Investment Partners. The company says the funding will mainly be used to expand across Japan and other Asian markets.
GGWP focuses on AI based moderation and community safety tools for online games and digital communities. The company says gaming publishers are dealing with growing moderation problems. Costs are rising. Human moderators are burning out. Toxic behavior pushes players away. At the same time, older AI moderation systems often fail to understand regional language differences, slang, and context.
That is where GGWP is trying to position itself differently. The company has developed what it calls cultural intelligence technology. The system supports more than 20 languages and is designed to detect things like slang, tone, and context specific expressions that standard moderation tools often miss.

The platform also works across different communication channels instead of focusing only on text chat. It can moderate voice communication, usernames, Discord communities, and player reports alongside regular in game messaging.
GGWP also offers something called Community Co pilot. This combines automated moderation with sentiment analysis so publishers can track community behavior while reducing manual moderation workload at the same time.
The company says the new funding will be used to scale infrastructure and better support publishers across Asia, especially in markets where language and cultural differences make moderation more difficult for traditional systems.
