SB C&S starts selling NVIDIA DGX Spark AI supercomputer

SB C&S Corp., which has played a key role since the founding of SoftBank to “quickly deliver new technologies nationwide in easier-to-use systems and formats,” will begin handling the personal AI supercomputer “NVIDIA DGX Spark,” equipped with NVIDIA’s new product, the “NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip,” on July 23, 2025.

In recent years, the evolution of large-scale language models (LLMs) and generative AI has accelerated, but the introduction of generative AI in a high-performance AI development environment poses technical and operational challenges. In many companies, AI development and large-scale data processing are carried out in separate environments, which requires a lot of time and effort to link the systems. In addition, the complexity of maintaining and managing multiple systems and the associated increased costs are also major issues.

The NVIDIA DGX Spark that SB C&S will begin handling is an AI computer that combines NVIDIA’s high-performance AI infrastructure “DGX,” optimized to balance massive data processing with AI development and execution, and the distributed processing platform “Apache Spark.” Its unique feature is that it can perform AI workloads and data processing workloads, which were previously separate, quickly and efficiently on a single integrated platform, and can consistently perform AI model learning and inference. It can achieve enterprise-level AI development capabilities in a personal workspace, and can build highly accurate AI in a shorter time without building complex systems, significantly reducing the hurdles of the first step of AI development and verification. Since it can be placed on a desk without requiring equipment such as a server room, it is suitable for a variety of industries, including researchers and laboratories who are struggling to find a place to install it due to a cramped server room, as well as education and medical institutions that want to reduce initial investment costs, and manufacturing and finance.
