Mesius Unveils SpreadJS V18.2J with Better Excel Support

メシウス Inc. announced SpreadJS V18.2J on October 30th, the latest version of its JavaScript library that brings Excel-like UI and functionality to web applications. SpreadJS helps developers create spreadsheet interfaces that have Excel-like features. It includes filters, formulas, and custom functions. This offers users a familiar experience.

The new version greatly boosts Excel’s input and output features. It now supports files with VBA macros and XML source code. Users can now import Excel files with macros. They can work on them in SpreadJS and export them back. This keeps the macro functionality intact. You can import and export XML-based Excel files. This way, you won’t lose your source settings.

SpreadJS V18.2J also introduces dark mode and light mode themes, alongside the classic mode, which can be customized via CSS or JavaScript. The update makes it easier to use on mobile and touch devices. It adds toggle buttons for checkbox cells. You can change the size, animation, color, and corners for a smoother experience.
