Sakura Internet Inc., a provider of digital infrastructure services, will begin offering the “B200 Plan” on its bare metal GPU cloud service “High Power PHY” from Friday, August 15, 2025, which enables use of NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs.
“High Power PHY” is a GPU cloud service that meets the computational needs of generative AI development, including large-scale language models (LLMs). Launched in January 2024 as the first installment of the “High Power” cloud service for generative AI, “High Power PHY” offers the “H100 Plan” and “H200 Plan” featuring the “NVIDIA Hopper GPU” to meet a wide range of needs. The company has now launched the new “B200 Plan,” which utilizes the “NVIDIA Blackwell GPU,” which offers higher performance than the “NVIDIA Hopper GPU.” Compared to previous plans, the “B200 Plan” offers significantly enhanced global connectivity, facilitating the introduction and migration of large-scale models, and significantly improving the efficiency of initial construction and ongoing training. To celebrate the launch of the “B200 Plan,” the company is also running a campaign offering the “B200 Plan” at a discounted price.
With the introduction of NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, the “High Power” cloud service for generative AI, which includes the bare metal series “High Power PHY,” the container series “High Power DOK,” and the VM series “High Power VRT,” has achieved a total computing power of 4.81 exaflops (EFLOPS) . This upgrade is part of the upgrade plan announced in June 2023 and April 2024, which aims to achieve a total computing power of 18.9 EFLOPS by the end of March 2028. This upgrade plan has also been certified by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as a supply assurance plan for the “Cloud Program,” a specified important material under the Economic Security Promotion Act.
