Money Forward, Inc. has begun offering an update API for its consolidated accounting system, Money Forward Cloud Consolidated Accounting, which allows users to register, update, and delete consolidated packages and consolidated journal entries. This enables data integration with in-house developed tools and a variety of accounting systems. It also promotes data collection for group financial statements and automation of consolidated management processes, supporting operational efficiency.
In an environment where different accounting systems are used by different group companies, the data processing and transcription work required for consolidated financial statements becomes a significant burden, hindering the early closing of financial statements. Money Forward Cloud Consolidated Accounting has previously provided a flexible data integration environment through its public API. It has already been integrated with external systems such as Takara Printing Co., Ltd.’s integrated business reporting system WizLabo and Pronexus Inc.’s disclosure document creation support system PRONEXUS WORKS, and is used by many companies.
The provision of this update API will significantly expand the scope of automated processing from external systems, further promoting the automation and labor-saving of consolidated business management processes. Furthermore, in the future, by linking with generative AI, it will become possible to perform advanced analysis using financial data, automate operations, and automate checks.

“Money Forward Cloud Consolidated Accounting” is a consolidated accounting system that streamlines data collection and file management for each group company and visualizes management status in real time. Not only does it automatically collect data through API integration with “Money Forward Cloud Accounting” and “Money Forward Cloud Accounting Plus,” but it also supports importing Excel files without the need for CSV conversion, so it can be used regardless of the accounting system used, including overseas subsidiaries.
