Hitachi Digital Inc. Will be launched on April 1, 2027 by Hitachi as a single global brand covering its subsidiaries, Global Logic and Hitachi Digital Services. Hitachi Digital Inc. Will drive a global business to help enterprises convert investments in the cloud, data and AI into business value.
Hitachi Digital will comprise some 35,000 employees in 27 countries, with over 880 active customers. The new division will offer software engineering, enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure, data intelligence and Physical AI to industries including manufacturing, mobility and energy.

AI will also be used more often in industrial settings as the company builds on Hitachi’s operational technology and mission-critical infrastructure expertise. The company says its Forward Deployed Engineers will partner directly with clients to deploy those capabilities. It is part of a general industry move to use AI with corporate systems and physical world operations.
